does anyone know if the forks must be removed to install the recall kit? i just chromed my forks and am nervous about the dealer scratching them! the chrome made the forks a bit thicker and you really have to open up the triple trees to get them to slide through without forcing them. i can just see the mechanic ripping them off and slamming them on!:headshake
