How do I get rid of the governor or get past it or override it on a GSXR 1000 K7.

Oh sorry Yes the speed limiter and I don't know what a TRE is either.

For whatever reason, the speed limiter in 1000's is only active in 6th gear. A TRE which fools the ECU into thinking it's in 5th gear will override it.

I believe I have seen the price of Yoshimura ECU's down. Instead of the EM Pro there are ECU's that appear to do the same for maybe 100 more. Not bad since you get different maps you can have loaded and the timing is part of the system that plug in. I believe it's the same as the EM Pro in that it takes the place of the stock ECU and you don't end up with extra wires strung around like a power commander.
Oh yah I think pick you max rpm is in there also. You'ld have to research a little but who woldn't buying something......
