Hey we have a race car its called a radical. Its almost touching the ground , all carbon fiber with a gixxer 1000cc engine on it. Fast as hell. Now stock we had a 2002 motor in it. The guy did the money shift ( red lined in 3rd, instead of going to 4th he went to 2nd) And blew the valves to peices ect. We needed a quick swap so we got a 2003 motor. Only 2000 miles on it. We installed everything and cylinder 2 and 4 was shooting flames out. Running real shitty. We have hurd we needed a 2003 ecm so we got a used one. Now its not doing anything. Is there a chance the wire harness is the problem?? Or u think the ecm is bad. If so how can we test it, Or how can we change the harness wiring without replacing everything. Thanks

if you are still using the 02 harness you need the 03. it has many different handlebar switches on the bike. it has circuits that wont run without certain realys and such. thats why its doing nothing at the moment.

The 1000 was revamped in 03. You need the 03 wiring or a 01-02 motor.
