Hi, I have recently bought gsx-r 600 k3. It looks like have some knocking noise around 3k to 5k rpm. Any idea ? It's louder when riding, and only when it's under gas. May be CCT ? Rod ? Or it's just normal ?

Thank you guys.

No, that is not normal. Something is definitely not good. I would do a compression test to start and I wouldn't run that thing until you figure out what is going on. Check your oil...proper level & right color? When did this start? Any recent work to the bike? What mods have been done? How many Km's on it?

Oil is new, level is good. Bike have 50K km on the clock. I bought it like that, now i'm just waiting till the service have time to look at it. Keep hoping its something like cam , valve clearance or tensioner and not something more worse. But what i read, rod bearing is much noisier and can be hear when idling.
