I have a 2004 750 and when i first start the bike it starts idling at around 1500 rpm but after about 30 seconds-a minute it slows down to 500 and the engine will usually shut off unless i manually give it some gas and get the rpms up some. Once my bike is warm i have no problems, stopping at lights or anywhere else is fine. Its only when the engine is cold and not been run for awhile. Since there is no choke i was wondering what i can do and if this is a serious problem or not. The bike runs fine, this is the only problem. Any tips would be great. Thanks in advance.

Your warm idle adjustment is off. It should be around 1200 rpm, +/- 100. There are two screws on the throttle body assembly below your tank on the left hand side. One of them is for the warm idle.
