Im hoping one of your guys could help me please

I bought a new headlight as I loved the DRL, I assumed plug and play but that is not the case.

Hi,

I went with what I suggested after getting some confirmation from you guys and it worked.

The spades where too large to slot into any of the original plugs so I just used my Wirefy T-Tap wire connectors and replaced the spade connectors with my own.

The main headlight switch is power on / off, to toggle between low/high beam you use the additional switch wired into the new set up.

Im going to mount this with the brake fluid reservoir bolt for now until I install a better fixed switch on the bars

The wife is busting my balls as she is at work tomorrow and wants to spend some time with me, so ill have to put the bike back together on Sunday

Fingers crossed its dry for a run out

On the standard set up is the daytime running light “low beam” or separate.

i didn’t really pay much attention as only ridden about 6 times since passing and only once did I get caught after sunset so I just flicked the switch forward and could see better 🫣 was this me high beaming people

sorry I really am a noob, 38 and first bike

id much rather tuck away the ugly switch that has come with it to be fair as 99% of all my riding will be day time that’s why I choose a light for it’s day time aesthetics

thanks for your support this far

Typical aftermarket, the light casing fouls where the intake pipes usually mate up on the inner edge. No matter what I do I can’t make this an air tight fitting.

I don’t own a dremal but do I need to start shaving the light casing as risk making a hole for moisture to get it

you can see the panel clip hole has matched up at this point so maybe these where never all the way in when I dismantled i didn’t look before I pulled it out

any and all advise welcome as i have put the kettle on
