Worth doing a compression and or leak down test on all cylinders?
You are a great mechanic.Hi guys
We did a rebuild on a Hayabusa and it won't start,we have fuel and spark and nothing,it tries but it won't go,we checked twice the cam timing and all good there...what could it be? Thanks

Hi,Hello. I would check the compression level as @Ozsyd600 said and valve clearance. Also if gasoline in tank older a year I recommend to change it.
It fires the plugs and injectors fineDoes it fire if you spray some starter fluid in the intake? I am not as good with the injected bikes but I am wondering if either the injectors are mixed up or the coils. Maybe a short vid so we can hear what is going on?
Did those?I would check for TDC on 1st piston do match TDC on ignition mark under its cover.
Also after series of unsuccess starts turn out spark plugs and check are wet or dry.
FuelDid those?
What about smell of plugs? Gas or smoke?
ECM throw cam error when receive starter signal but dont receive cam signal for 5 sec as I remember. So If you receiver error only after cranking more than 10 sec this could be because long cranking drain out the battery and ecm still receive starter signal but just dont turns in fact or turns too slowly already. I would ignore this. After long cranking it throws cam sensor
This may be a hint.Fuel
What about exact values of cyls?Comp average is 13
Very difficult to start on three cyls, I guess.have done another leak down and cyl one has a lot of loss,but...would it still start on the others that are ok?
Usually it should be not above 7 bar. I think 6 bar will be enough. What pressure do you recommend for the leak down tester? Thanks
