I was reading somewhere on here that people have seen upwards of 13% increase in rear wheel hp on a gixxer sixxer on a dyno by just adding header wrap. I am finding this hard to believe. it just doent make sense in my little pea brain? :headscrat

has anybody done this? can someone help me out here?

Front what I know, it makes the exhaust flow out of the headers easier. It keeps it super heated and with the insulation it dosen't get cought up by cooling down out of the pipe. It also keeps the block cooler.

if you read the post on here, Motojoe talks about the reasoning behind it. Keeping the exhaust hotter helps get it out of the pipes quicker. and will also keep the motor compartment cooler.
