2000 gsxr 600. PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM!

this time my flipping headlight went out at 3 am while i was riding. it flickered a little bit then just died. i searched on here, tried toggling the starter switch to see if it flickers, still doesnt. have no idea what it is. please help. this bike has turned into nothing but a hassle.

replace bulb, check connection on back of assembly not in that order maybe

Best bet is to check the bulb and the connectors.

hey man not sure how the wiring is looped through the bike but a buddy of mine had that on another make and i ended up finding a broken solder connection in one of the switches mounted on the handle bars. its only a couple of screws to check it out if you have not found anything else yet. good luck man

+1 on the bulb....mine did the same not too long ago and it was popped. I couldn't tell at first sight because it wasn't black....but the filament was just barely broken.

what everyone else said and also you might wanna trace the main harness that goes from the headlight to the gauge cluster to the main bike harness i've seen alot of guys rush and slap there fairings on for a ride with some buddys and pinch some wires plenty of times
