hi everybody , just found this tonight , looked pretty cool. im from ct love to ride and chat.recently got my newest toy, blue & white gsxr 1000.love ot so far like to talk with others and see how they like theres and what if any mods have been done or going to do.if anybody is local lets hook up and do some riding!!

Welcome to the site. I've got a blue/white '04 1000 as well. I'm starting my mods tommorrow. Clear Alternatives tail, Yoshimura RS-3 Carbon is all I think I'll get too tommorrow but there are more parts on the way. I'll share some pics later, till then if you wanna see my bike......just look at yours, LOL.

hey there...good taste in bike..lol. i tried to post a pic but it kept telling me it was too large, tried to resize but no luck, maybe try taking more pics in lower res.. i had my bike 12hrs before i had the yoshi rs3 ti on mine! bike was way too quet! acually im kinda disapoited, still too quiet. im hoping the packing will break in enough to louden up. if not may have to resort to removing some of the packing...lol. going to do the fender eliminator kit and hugger fender over the winter as well as tre and some sort of power commander.. just hit the 600 mi mark so now i can start to have more fun, even tho i must admit even under 6000 rpm bike is still pretty damm fun!

yeah, im lovin mine... just did a clear tail light and fender yesterday and put my full RS-3 on today. Sounds much much better than stock ever did. And it was a blast to install.. :laughingr oh well... mine goes off to the shop next week for the break in maintenance then I can start havin some real fun.

hey man looks great!, did you do a full pipe or slip on?,and did you eliminate the exaust vavle? if so do you nitice much loss in low-mid? also most important...how much louder than stock is it???? i did the ti bolt on and it is a little louder but no where as loud as i would like it too be.. also what size pics are you posting?ive tried a few differnt ones and resizing them but they keep being rejected saying there too big?

i did a full RS-3 system, yes I removed the exhaust valve (pain in the ass btw). It is alot louder than my stock pipes and has a much better sound overall. Wierd tho, when I traded the pipes out now I get the dreaded FI error readout on my gauge. Haven't figured it out yet. I think it's got something to do with the synchro that controls that valve. Think I'm gonna let the shop figure it out.

nope, u can fix that one yourself, it was a wire that was to be cut or something of that nature, post it in the tech forum and you'll get an answer quick like. :thumbup:

lshybrid..you do much work to your teg? if you need help i specialize in that area. i work for honda/acura for past 10 years and do tons of swaps and builds on handas/acuras...
