ok whenever i get my 2004 gsxr1000 over 100mph i get a bad vibration through the handlebars mainly and it sort of resonates down through the rest. I feel like its really coming from the front end. my bike is in great condition and rides VERY smooth all the way up to 100 but once i hit that barrier the vibration kicks in bad enough that i hate going that fast...anybody got any ideas??

It could be a cupped tire , warped rotors , tire out of balance , bearings. Mine did it for awhile and ended up being a cupped front tire. Till you get it fixed I would not advise going that fast

gettin it balanced would definately be the first step, and while you have the wheel of make sure all you bearings are in good shape. at 100 it definately should not have any type of shake or vibration whatsoever when everything is workin properly.

i really appreciate the responses, Im going to get the front tire balanced. It isnt new but it is not worn but it did sit in my garage all winter and prolly got a little warped. I was hoping that would be the majority of responses, instead of something major!

A flat spot on the tire, from winter storage, the vibration might not be noticeable till you reach those high speeds.
