I just recently installed a full yoshimura r-55 exhaust on my 06 gsxr 600 and i just recently noticed that my rear brake light stays on!?! No matter what i do the light does not dim down to just the taillight, from the moment i turn the key! Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

try messing with the light plug in the rear by the tail light, it might have a bad connection. Also have you messed with the tail light at all??

no i did not mess with the taillight at all, i only removed the right side rear fairing so i could disconnect the butterfly vave adjustment motor cables.

did you hit the bake light switch at all and its stuck on or is the wire resting on the exhaust melting it keeping it permetly on?

I'va had the same problem! To fix it i've unpluged the batery and cleaned the brake switch. The brake switch was so dirty that it was unable to go back. If this not working tell me!

nvr mind, i found out the problem, the spring that goes to the sensor was being pressed up against the new exhaust bracket and was making the sensor think it was being depressed!!!! So i rerouted the spring behind the bracket and all is good!!!! Thank you everyone for your input, it was greatly appreciated!!!! so for future reference if anyone is putting on an yoshimura r-55 you will hafta reroute the spring!!!
