all you that own 02 600s, i got a quick question. I just noticed something yesterday. But my bike has a choke lever and it works?!? Isn't the 02 600 supposed to be fuel injected??? Any of you with the 02 600 have a choke lever?

i always noticed there was a choke lever. I thought it was weird cause i wasn't sure if the bike was fuel injected or carburated.

oh, cause i got an 03 and was wondering how you could miss it. as far as why, i don't know i just use it.

no i was just paranoid. cause all the 750s i know don't have it. I just found out it could be a fast idle lever.

I was just a little paranoid cause the bike is supposed to be fuel injected and it has a "choke" lever so i was just htinking.....

it doesn't "choke" the bike, it just turns the idle up. And yes, it's injected

Yeah smart one, All it does is turn the idle up a little bit. Havent you changed your air filter? You can see how it works. HAHA

nope haven't changed the air filter yet. Only had it for almost 4k miles. Just changed the oil thats about it...oh yea and clutch.

It is a fast idle lever. It is labeled choke because that is what most people think of it ias as it serves the same purpose

Yea, its called a "Fast Idle" lever, not a choke lever.

Those bikes are "throttle body injected". Not true fuel injection persay. I wondered the same thing when I first got my 02 600.

I turned my fast idle lever into a cruise control......
All i did was turn up the screw till it was barely touching the lever to trun up the fast idle and that it :thumbup:

I have the same bike...What do you mean turn up the screw? And so when you're crusing you just pull the adjuested lever and it keeps the speed going?? and if so how fast?
