Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is jay and I've been riding on the street for 10 years now, on the dirt for 23. I don't know why I've never seen this site before, but I'm here now. I've had my share of bikes all Yamaha's and Suzuki's my current bike is a 02 gsxr 750. I actually am in need of some new plastics, but cant seem to pm or reply to any adds on the classifieds yet, do I need 15 post? can someone point me in the right direction to finding some decent plastics and possibly tank?

Hey I was JUST in phoenix for an usaf thing. Welcome, and yeah there are certain requirements you have to meet before you can perform certain actions (vague i know, but it seems like you just needed verification.)

As far as plastics go there are a variety of places (ebay.com or Xtremediscountcycle.com) that have afm plastics, there are several threads that have different opinions on these different stores. I just ordered some plastics off ebay and should be getting them within the week (bought them cuz they were cheaper) if you want, I can let you know how they fit/look.

af-47 That would be great if you could let me know how they fit. I heard alot of crap about the hong kong speacial on ebay. I hope to find nice oem plastics, but well see.

Yeah, the lady I talked to said whatever I wanted on there she could paint, so I bet they wouldn't have a problem going OEM. I had them leave off any paint and just prime it for me (want to paint it myself). But i'll let you know.

So the fit was good,did all the mounting holes line up?Did those plastics come painted from nice cycle, and if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay?

All the holes lined up but one and it was close enuff that i jst opened it up a lil bit... It was the closest to the rear wheel.
Yes they came painted and I paid $750.00 for them.
