I Need help with my 08 600 i have a adjustable lowering link has anyone done a link on there's? please help me thanks alot

I have an 04 but i think the process will be the same so here goes nothin..
1. I started by putting the foot pegs on jack stands, so that the swingarm hangs free.
2. You might have to take the side fairings off, im not sure, but look under the bike at the rear shock. You should notice two bars on each side of the bottom of the shock that look like dogbones.
3. If you have to remove plastic to get to them do it, if not i had the rear off to get a new tire on anyways, so it was less weight. You might want to do this if your alone.
4. remove old bones and install the new ones..at the length that you want..tighten and re-assemble.
