awsome tutorial answered all my questions thanks to dark for the video def gonna try and set mine up today it always felt to stiff for me im only 5 10 160 lbs and the guy i bought mine from was like 6 2 prolly 180 190 so its not set for me cant wait to hit the twisties with it set up for my weight

good video just a word of warning on seting up your suspension always write down any adjustments made incase the bike is worse you will know how to reset it back to the way it was.bought an r1 once went out for the first ride on it and it was tank slapping bar to bar over the smallist bump went home and checked the suspention and everything was wound up to the max.i could have be killed.:headshake

+1+1 but i tried to set mine up equal rear to front and maybe i did mine wrong but, when i set my front to allow a 1inch annd a quater of suspension drop from sitting on the bike it was horrible i hit the front brakes and i swear i smacked the front fender with the upper fairing (i hit them hard for a test) i gave up a set it back and left the rear modifieed for my weight i have a 98 srad 600 any suggestions on what to do? i weigh 160 or so

awsome vid dude everyone should set their bike up for the body style weight, and riding style if not for safty then for comfortabilty i had a rear brake that was to high now i know how to det it awsome thanks

just what i have been looking for.. i got alot of issues with setup.. and need to get this done.. i know iw asent goin crazy when i realized front is too loose and rear is too harsh.. i had this mechanic tell me that factory setup was best and no need to mess with it.. idiot..
