well welcome to the site first off. since ur new they might not rip you so bad. lol. more info would be nice , make ,cc's yr ect.. use the search function as this has been covered many times. i can not help as i have never had to put mine in dealer mode yet. i will tell you it pulls any error codes your having i.e fi light and so on.:thumbup:

If you look in the Tech FAQ section, read the threads about error codes. "Dealer Mode" is a diagnostic mode you can set on your bike to display error codes. There is a tutorial on how to do it there.

Well go to this page it could help a little . The dealer mode will help to save money instead of taking it to the dealer & being charged a arm & a leg . It takes about 30min to do and u spend about $6 in parts . This will help read the codes that could appear after a F1 shows up in ur tachometer someday. www.bugmanweb.com

Will it show past codes in the dealer mode? Mine has come on, I shut the bike off, turn it back on and it's gone. Has happened about 3 times. Sometimes ride 100 miles before it comes back on. But when I put it in dealer mode I just get the C00.

no it wont show past codes, keep your bike running when uget the code soo u could check it. once u shut it off the code disappears and might not show up agian
