*so i have a red wire from the switch to the battery
*i have another red wire to a resistor and then a red wire from the resistor to a wire nut that has all the led red wires attached to it
*i have a black wire from the battery to a wire nut holding all the black wires from the LED's

im getting nothing

make sure that your resistor is flowing the right way and your leds are the right way they are a diode after all and will only work one way andthat there paralell and not series i would double check all that

i almost forgot the resistor has to be in paralell and u probably want to put it after the switch it will not work properly if its not in paralell if all that checks out and sill oesnt work then get your self a test light and see where it looses power
