Iv been looking in to getting a up-rated air filter some thing like a K+N,but i have a GSXR 750 Srad on a 2000 plate and i have been told i need a K+N SU7956 is this correct?are the K+N filters any good?

to be honest i wouldn't. some people live by them. wish i would put the money in to something else. i havent noticed any difference form my gsxr 750

What do you mean by on a 2000 plate?

There are mixed feelings out there, but I am one who lives by the K&N, have one on every vehicle I own.

Iv got a GSXR750 Srad 00,been told there a different filter but iv had a look at mine and it's oval in shape,is it the same as a 600 !!!

If your bike is setup to breath correctly, it will help. Just adding a can may not do enough. But the filter won't hurt either.

I bought my bike with it so i dunno. But ive heard ppl say it makes ther bikes bog down low ?

I put one on my 2000 srad 600. Without a jet kit it does make it bog down. As soon as I got more fuel from the jet kit, it started screamin'!!!! I would recommend one but you have a 750 FI. I'm not familiar with power commanders.
