Now im guessing that there is already a thread related to this and im sorry if there is...when i bought my bike it already has the 520 chain will stock tooth sprockets...he also gave me 16t front sprocket which if read right that is -1 and he also gave me a 46t rear which im thinkin is +1... so if i install the 16/46 is that going to help with my accel or is there going to be a minimium difference?

thanks

16F 45R is your stock gearing, so if he gave you a 16 tooth front, I'm guessing there is a 15 tooth (-1) on the front. A -1/+2 setup for your bike will be 15F/47R. If your rear only is off one tooth you probably won't notice it.

i meant to say 15/ 46 so -1/+1 what if i were to just do a -1 front, or just a +1 back

most of the guys on here say that -1 on the front is like +3 on the back i think. i did the 520 mod on mine, really only cause the kid i got it from gave it to me, but i only went +1 in the rear and left the front stock with 16. can't even hardly tell.

Ya i have the 520 chain kit also but i also want a little more pick up but i only have the 15 tooth front and just the 46 tooth rear...
and not sure if i want to spend the money to get a different rear sprocket to make it +2... can you mix up different brand sprockets because i have a vortex sprocket for both front and rear but i dont want to spend $70 to get a 47 tooth on a vortex
