soo i picked up these 05 fairings from a guy on ebay for around 255 dollars. it came with tank and the regulars ( front, side, tail, etc.) i just painted them performance red. (it looks like blood, thats how red the paint is.) anyways im thinkin of mounting them on my 02 gsxr. any advice. i know sprayedgsxr did it to his bike. it looks pretty cool. thanks. i will update the pics as i go along. im selling those white track fairings for anybody whos interested for like 100 dollars. full fairings.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE DOING THE CONVERSION. IN ORDER FOR THE FAIRINGS TO LINE UP U MUST ONLY BOLT THE LOWER MID HOLE THEN ADJUST IT FROM THERE
NOTE: I HAD TO CUT MY SUBFRAME FOR THE NEW TAIL TO FIT AND HAD TO CUT A LITTLE TAB ON THE 2005 750 FAIRING STAY TO MOUNT TO THE FRAME

I spent the last 3 days searching for all the stuff I needed to do exactly what you just did! what a coincidence

I got in an accident recently and the damaged parts are all the fairings, fairing stay, tank, and ram air ducts.. It's funny because thats the exact parts i'd need to do the conversion so it struck me that why not just put newer style fairings haha..

Anyways its nice to see someone whos done it, i could use all the tips you could share man.. if you do the write up that would be even better, if you don't just fill me in on what i'm in for.

looks incredable, better than i could have imagined considering it's an older style frame.. by the way, did you paint it or powdercoat it? how's it holding up?
