I want to replace the swingarm on my k6 750 (spool broke off in low speed low side), and know someone who just put an aftermarket swingarm on his k8 600, and was wondering if his stock one will fit. Used the search function, couldn't dig anything up, part numbers don't match, so I'm betting it won't, but I figured I'd ask around to find out.

Alternately, I have the snapped off spool, and was wondering if it can be welded back on, without warping my swing arm, or weakening it.
