does anybody know how a mtc stage 2 lock up clutch work? can u dump the clutch with this mod? how do u adjust it etc.......
The stage 2 lock up works by adding pressure to the clutch about 20 feet out from the starting line. It has 3 fingers on it which you can add washers to make it lock up faster or you can take some off to make it lock up slower. If your bike is 66" or longer it will work good, if your just on motor. If you have a turbo, or nos you might think about getting the multi stage lock up cause it has 6 fingers and gives you the ablity to apply more pressure on the big end of the track. Oh and no you cant throw the clutch away from the gate you still have to slip the clutch with your fingers but as the fingers start to apply pressure it will pull the lever out on its on.

One more thing make sure your air gap is right when you put it in cause if its not it wont work right!

well you need to take the cover off then pull the clutch hat off and measure to make sure you have .050 air gap. Then if thats right you need to start playing around with some washers on the fingers.
