i washed my bike yesterday
then waxed the chain
after i washed the bike i still had all of the indicators working including the tach etc

i get on the bike today and i don't have tach, speed, odo
but everything else works

any ideas?
someone mentioned i might have blown a fuse

yeah would def check the fuses first...worse case somehow water got into some wiring connections and shorted something...but def fuses first

it might be the fuse. you didnt use a pressure washer did you? because water from those things get in spots where you dont want too. the way i wash my bike, is with a soft cloth, and some honda spray. its a 2in1 cleaner and polish, that stuff is awsome.

Detail spray and Nano Wax the ish out of it.

earth grounding fault you say? where is the earth ground comming from? hopefully this is just a generic term
sadly enough without a complete wiring diagram the EE degree is not all that usefull and i might just try to crack open the instrament cluster backplate or the fuse could be in/near the ECM

anyways checked fuses none are for the instrament panel
checked out the wiring diagram and it appears that there are not any fuses that connect to the instrament panel so it must be an internal to the instrament panel fuse?? any ideas?
or maybe i am just not finding the fuse within the fuse box
i checked all of the fuses underneath the seat (aside from the main fuse) i am almost certain that one is working just fine! as the bike starts and headlights turn on.
