Well, it is finally time to vote for March Bike of the Month. I gave a few extra days to the riders who used the forum image upload and unfortunately they did not all redo their posts with photobucket. Berkhippie and DarrenGSXR both have very nice looking bikes, but unfortunately if they win their bike wouldn't show on the front page without a photobucket or other outside service img code. Enter again for April!!

The remaining bikes are all dead sexy... except mine. Don't vote for my bike.

Slimfatass -

2003 GSX-R 1000

Story - This is my first sport bike and guess what it is a liter bike!! I have never died riding it. However; sadly I have killed a lot of chickens with it. Nobody will ride with me anymore and I get told I am crazy.

Special Mods I have made -

-Removed a LOT of stickers from the previous owner
-Occasionally wash it
-D&D exhaust
-Hand soldered TRE with a toggle switch from radio shack (bugman style)
-Wyoming road grime
-Somewhat clean K&N filter
-Michelin Pilot Power tires

Apiazza

Year: 2004 gsxr

Size: 600cc

Pipe: FMF Bolt-on, shorty

Mods:

Vortex rearsets

Vortex Clip-ons

Driven Sprockets (-1/+2)

MVXZ chain (520)

Accosato Master

Brembo Res Kit

Galfer Lines

Versah pads

Woodcraft case savers

C'n'R Clutch lever

Stomp grip tank pad

Moto-D Lap Timer

Moto-D Laptimer Bracket
TWM concepts keyless gas cap

Vortex fairing stay

hotbodies race body paint done Mickey's truck bodies in metal flake black

Popshadow decals

I picked her up at the end of the 2014 track season. She was mechanically sound, but needed a little off season love. I replaced wear items (chain/sprockets and tires) and then proceeded to do some major body repairs that she had from a few low sides and strapping down to a trailer. After some TLC she is looking a lot better and is running really strong. I adorned her with the number 71, the number my grandfather used to run on his stock car back in the 50's and 60's. With her getting older I probably wont do too many mods that can't be transferred to the next bike.

The story goes. I picked her up last year. Actually traded in my wife's Harley for it. It was bone stock, the original color was white and blue. She's been a work in progress ever since.

Tough one this month, some old 1K badassery, a track hoe with a nice mod list, a great looking stretch and one a really clean one for team blue. I like all of them. Good luck to all.

Apiazza needs some votes. I know we have members that haven't cast their vote yet.

Agreed! I guess it comes down to what you like. Road course or straight line or better yet how about one that does both ;)
