Howdy. What is the max. for streetable, reliable output on one of these engines? How are you achieving it? I own an oldie. 98 SRAD. On a slight downhill with 0 headwind I can see 277 km/hr. The return on the uphill simply defeats the power. Lucky to see 240. No mods except drilling the crap out of the internal wall on the stock silencer. How are you guys getting big reliable power? Thanks.

Drilling out the stock silencer gets you pretty much nothing. In fact you could pull it off entirely and get nothing.

Okay, for the 98 750, that is a carbed bike, right? I think 99 was the first year of fuel injection. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. That being the case, a race filter and a new jet kit will probably get you the biggest power gains. And of course reduced gearing. Cheapest way to launch quicker.
