Im trying to figure out how to remove the scratches from the black mirror/turn signal casing. It has a slight rough texture to it. Its on a 08 600. Any ideas?

I removed the scratches on the turn signal cover and mirror casing..these are circled in red. The scratches that needs removed are in the white square box.

How did you remove it from the mirror casing?

if scratch burs are showing, try using a very small propane type torch and take your time..the plastic will flatten back out.

Wet sanded with 1000,1500,2000 grip paper. Then took it to the buffer.

or you can use a heat gun

I do have a heat gun and a large torch. Will heat really fix it... or will i still see marks?
