I set the time and the shift light on my gauges but every time I go to ride its all back to default it resets itsself. Is there a backup battery that I need to replace? :headscrat

connections are good the gauge works but I have to set the time everytime I ride it, its getting old. There isnt a backup battery for it, like a watch battery that saves the memory???

No, its just like a car battery in the fact that they remember the time radio presets that sort of thing, is the battery new?

the battery is a few months old, starts right up don't have any problems with the battery as far as I know. I do keep it on a tender could that be a problem?
