Long story short.
Im looking at a '07 600 with 2,300 miles
and a '06 750 with 15,000 miles

Both for 6200.
The main thing for me with the 750 is the miles... 15 does seem like way to many but i feel like in no time ill be at 20k. And it would seem to me probly close to a annual semi major tune up. BUt it is a friend of mine and right down the road. hes had it listed for a while but is in good condition.

then the 600 is almost an hour drive. The price seems descent and i believe it would be easier to sell if that were the case. The thing about the 600 is that it is hard for me to get looking at the listed dry weight difference of 5 pounds, and then the added power of the 750. I cant compare the 2 because i havent rode a suzuki 600 but the zx6 to the 750, i just love the bottom end of the 750.
I am also 6' 1" 225 but as far as the physical feel of size out of the 2 gsxrs are very minimal if any.

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm the 07 600 for 6200.........

Forget about the 750 that is too many miles the guy is crazy.
If your going to spend that much for a 600, you might as well keep looking for a better buy.

I bought my K8 750 for 7700 with 800 miles......

off this site

www.craigslist.org

You are spending alot of money so just look around since your welling to put down 6k on a bike

Even with that milage the 750 will retain it's resale value. I'd go with the 750.

I disagree........

KBB trade in is 5100 (According to Kbb he is overcharging you by 1k)
http://www.kbb.com/motorcycle

KBB Retail value is 7390

Both are not even tallying in mileage.........

But don't take my word for it, call a dealership and get your jaw dropped. ;)

My 08 750 Mint condition 2k miles, mofo wanted me to trade it in for 5100......... for the 09 model. ROFL

Call a dealership and let me know how it works out for you.

Who trades bikes in to dealerships? That's how you lose money. Put it up for sale on here or craigslist or ebay. Don't be retarded and lose your money to a dealership.

KBB is usually off. dealerships and loan institutes use NADA. link is www.nada.com at least in NY they do. cant vouch for other states.

You guys are cracking me up calling a 15k 06 a high mileage bike. That's only 5k a year.

50k miles is nothing on these motors. 100k is easy if you don't wreck first. 15k is just getting broken in.
+2 15k isn't much at all. really.

BTW I had *HUGE* success using Craigslist. I searched for weeks for the right bike to come along when it was suggested to me that I should post a WTB (Want to Buy) with exactly what I was looking for. And I scored big time. At least I think so. I picked up an '04 750 with GP Suspensions front, Penske rear, Bruce Fab high mount exhaust, rear sets, Brembo front radial, stainless lines, etc... mint condition with less than 6k miles for only $4800.

The guy I bought it from wasn't even thinking about selling it. I just happen to post the add on at the right time. He delivered it two days later. And he even threw in free stands :D

kbb and nada are both irrelevant. Book value and price it will sell for are two different things. Check craigslist/ebay and see what comparable bikes are selling for. You'll see some high and lows, but you find an average pretty quickly.
