Bike was left on the rain yesterday and now am having trouble turning the key. I was thinking about lubing it with WD40. Any suggestions????:hmmm:
Ok thanks for the support i will be sure to do that. When i was riding t last night it didnt give me a problem am thinking about just leaving it for now. Am really on planning to make a cap for the key ignition switch(Rains a lot in FL). I was really suprised when i bought the bike that everything is wide open to the environment.Use WD 40 as a last resort. A spray, drying Teflon lube (like the Dupont Teflon lube discussed in the oil/lubrication forum) is probably your best choice.
advance auto parts carries it here on the east coastPowdered graphite lock smiths have it.
