Background, I powder coated my pegs and shift rod this winter.

Now that I have put it back together.. my neutral light does not always work, the gear indicator will read blank when this occurs.

I have poked around a little bit, but I don't see any sensor around the shifter..

Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

Had this problem too. Brought it to the dealer, fixed it under warranty. Problem was GEAR INDICATOR SWITCH. Give that a try.
