Welcome btw.
since I'm sure no one here wants to see the CBR, here are some pics of the GSXR.. I went the bike-in-a-box route cuz I got it so cheap.. I will post progress pics as I start picking up the parts for it

Hahaha thanks.. I hate depending on the guys to work on my shit when i break it... I just put a bunch of parts on my CBR myself but it was easy stuff like clipons... I've never built a whole bike before so I shouldn't have any problems as long as I get the right guidance... I've been a grease monkey ever since high school so it sorta comes natural to me...

There is nothing wrong with being a grease monkey. Its a good hobby to have. Do you work on cars too?

I CAN work on cars... I prefer not to. I work at a Toyota dealership so sometimes I get bored and go out to the shop and tinker with the newer cars just to learn. I used to be a Honda ricer and built a civic.. But when I bought a bike that all flew out the window.. I still know all the useless BS but I'm totally not into it any more

Welcome!

Can't wait to see the end result. Just remember to check, double check, triple check and have someone else ALSO experienced do the same as you go. You're safety is riding on it. It is nice to see a girl step up to something big like this! Refreshing! To be honest, i wouldn't trust MYSELF with something this big!

Not sure about everybody else, but I wouldn't mind seeing some pics of the CBR if ya got em! Don't get me wrong though, I'm a Gixer fan for life! :arsenal
