More progress this weekend as my first track day is Monday April 19th at NJMP Lightning.

The tail on this Auctmarts kit fit really well actually. Surprisingly better than the last one. The rest of the kit not so much.

I hate to say it but they really are sub par compared to Armour Bodies, SharkSkinz and even Optimal as those brands you can apparently drill and then mount. If I dared to do that with this kit it would have been useless.

Put it this way. I had to dremel every single piece to make it fit and even then I cracked and forced the “glass” to make it work. NEVER AGAIN will I purchased Chinese fairings....NOT WORTH IT.

Got the RCS 17 and Vesrah pads installed.
Filled and bled the system with Motul 660 and WOW I can’t wait to drop anchor into some corners soon to see how this feels.

Ohhh boyyyy this thing came out really nice...the fitment is absolutely terrible but you cannot tell from the pics lol.

Took about 12 hours of work to get it to what you see.

Gonna flog the old girl all day on Monday at NJMP!

Lol porn has a whole new meaning over here. This is the second sexual compliment I’ve gotten on the bike today....this is a good sign.

Thanks Todd. I always say a prayer before and after track days. #protectedbyJesus

The track day was awesome, until it started to rain....and then it didn’t stop. There was no way I was testing the limits with the brand new fairings. I gotta say the combination of fresh suspension, new M/C and pads, me losing 25 lbs and the fresh paint made the bike feel absolutely amazing on the track. I was ripping and it was a lot of fun!

So I found someone parting out his race bike and made some really good deals.
About to show up in the mail is the following:

Forged Magnesium Marchesini 10spokes and a set of new EBC Rotors for them. I also got a spare blue tank. I can’t wait to put these wheels on the bike and see how it feels.

Going over the bike before this Monday Track day and I found that the new (to me) R&R subframe suffered a broken mount point last time out. This is proof that going over the bike before you ride it, especially at the track, is essential for safety/sanity. If I didn’t discover this then the guys at Tech would have and then my weekend would have suffered.

Found a welder to fix her up this weekend and I found a gem. This guy fabricates parts for classic cars and does full restorations. The other side of the shop does paint and powder coating. I’m going to be utilizing this connect for the foreseeable future.

Got a lightened rear rotor for the Marchesini wheels that will be delivered today....I am very excited. I bought a set of Metzeler Track Day slicks to try out for the first time so I’ll report back on how they feel after I ride on them.

Also, I noticed how nice Triumph’s quick fasteners are so I bought a bunch to use on my other bikes as well. Look at the package they come in....

Magnesium Marchesini Wheels w/EBC rotors are officially on the bike and it’s ready for NYST double day coming up!

Super stoked about riding with lightweight wheels after having this bike for 6 years…hoping the hype is real and the bike feels amazing.

Better pics to come I am just excited bc I just put them on.

Thanks Todd. Peter Levins is the photographer at NYST and I agree he takes the best pics for sure!
