Hey all.
New here. Bought a 2002 GSXR750.. Could use a bit of help.
Person mentioned that fuel pump won't prime--- and that's all which is wrong with it.
Have been reading these chats since. We can prime, and run bike when putting 12v directly to the pump.
No prime, however when trying to do normally.
I did the paperclip to switch to dealer mode last night. C00 came up---
I have been told that this model--- the ecm going is fairly common. Don't feel like throwing good money after bad--- anyway of determining if it is fried?

Welcome to the forum and what he said. ^

The fuel pump should run for a few seconds when the ignition is first turned on, when the starter button is pressed and continuously when the engine is running. The ECM supplies a ground to the fuel pump relay which then turns on the fuel pump. I would get a wiring diagram and check that the circuit between the relay and ECM is getting ground at the correct times.

You might also check the ECM pins for corrosion. Be gentle with the connectors.

First, then, check the earth at the pump. Half plug it in so you can put a test probe to the terminal and see if there is continuity to ground. Or just from the plug to ground.

(Is it a plug on these? Sorry, don't know for sure.)

No Amazon Prime? LOL,
Did you say you just got the bike? What changes were made prior to when this problem started?
