Hello Guys,

I wanted to change my oil filter and used a strap wrench to remove my filter but i can't get a grip on that sucker :damn:.

I went to Advance Auto Parts for a Oil Filter Wrench but they have several different sizes.

I was wondering if anyone knows the size for a Oil Filter Wrench for 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000.

Thanks guys.

phillips head will go in easier then a flat head... more of a point to em

just make sure when you put the new one on just snug it with your hand, that way next time you should be able to get it off by hand

+1 on jamming the flathead through :)

for future reference use k&n oil filters from now on, they have a nut at the top that a ratchet or wrench will fit on to ease removal/installation. no more oil filter wrenches or jamming screwdrivers through! yay! just remember not to torque it down much more than you can do with just your bare hand.
