The design on your bike is different than the K6/K7 shown in the video.

I don't know for sure how it is held in the cover on your bike, my guess is that it is just pressed in.

Suzuki does sell the window separately (#2 on the diagram) and that would include any gasket or o-ring to reinstall it.

The "lens" is a separate part you can purchase, so it should be easily removable. The parts fiche makes no reference to any retainer.

Ok thanks guys for the responses. I’m going to see what happens once I pull the cover and see it from the inside this weekend.

I just happened to notice this thread and it appears that the OP is gone never to return. His sight glass happens to be the same as in my K6 1000, 11971-33210. Here are a couple pics:

Indeed, it's just pressed in place. There's probably a groove in the clutch cover that it sits in. It's common to see a red dot in the middle of such indicators, something that ours doesn't have.

The rubber seal is marked Ars. Some searching indicates that it's Arai Rubber Seal, an interesting Japanese company that seems to be a rubber specialist. Their website indicates a long involvement with motorcycles. Among other things, they make valve stem seals, cushioned sprockets, and fork seals. I didn't see a catalog so it seems that companies may come to them for specific parts.

P.S. I don't have pics that are as clear but Kawasaki 52005-1120 may be the same part.
