I don't know how far you like to ride but if you want some more good riding continue up 33 towards Taft and take Hwy 58 to the coast The scenery through the oil fields on 33 isn't the best but 58 is great (gas up in Taft because there's no services on 58)

Or try Cerro Noroeste Road towards Frazier Park, on your map it's the road marked in yellow. The asphalt is smoother and cleaner than Lockwood Valley Road and they end at the same place.

I'm trying to make this ride but I've been on the road almost a month and not sure the wife will let me leave without her for the day. How many are going? How crazy is the pace?

Were gonna be riding up to Frazier park for lunch. We have a fast group and a slow group. We wait at every turn/stop for the entire group. We probably have 10-15 people going.

If want to go... meet at the Chevron off of Euclid/91 fwy at 820.

Jump on the 91 fwy towards Euclid in Fullerton... exit Euclid and head North towards Fullerton and go up about 2 blocks. It's the 2nd stop light and the Chevron is to the right on the corner of Orangethorpe and Euclid.
