does anybody know if i can put a 1992 GSXR 750 body on a 1987 GSXR 750?

if you are talking about the plastics anything can be done with the right know how and resources. I am a body man and I put a 98 srad tail section on a 93 gsxr 750 .I had to modify the frame a little ,and i made it a solo tail 1 peice, including undertail but it worked just fine. infact people thought it was a 98 with a modified front! just doing the tail section makes a big difference on those old bikes.

I highly doubt it, I had an 86' wich is same as 87 and it was totaly diffrent than my 91 wich is same body as 92.. :headshake

Thanks guys, i guess i might just leave it all original, the guy who i bought it from went out of his way to put everything back to all original even in the engine (except a stage 1 jet kit). But i like the style of the 86-87 GSXR except the tail section because it is so skinny and boxy if you know what i mean.
