This is a pretty obvious question I think but I wanted to be sure. What is the difference between the Power Commander zero map and the stock bike map? I'm assuming the zero map makes it behave like the PC is not even there (exactly like stock) and the stock bike map is DynoJet's mapping for how they feel the stock bike should have been from the factory (i.e. "better" than stock but with stock hardware).

I have an exhaust coming (Ti-Force Full Race system  ) and some other parts but they're not here yet. I wanted to go ahead and install the PC while I had some time this weekend. Thanks for any clarification.

The bikes are a bit lean in some ranges for Emmisions and such, and thus not tuned for max power. The DJ stock map is for a stock bike, but gets the "hidden" power out of it.

They may have it taken care, now that it's nearly 14 years later?
