I see a few companines that sell full plastic kits for our bikes for about $550 shipped. The come already painted and decaled. I found one that is my origional paint scheme.

My question.... I am sure the quality is as good as factory but are the decent? Also how is fitting. Probally not perfect but is it doable?

Thanks!

I agree, don't buy the kits like they have on ebay. I just had to replace my left and right fairings, tail cowl, and front cowl. Got it right from the dealer for a little over 500, and its OEM factory plastic.

All OEM Suzuki sport bike plasic is painted with full decals from the factory. I have only seen in some rare cases with the GS's, DR's, and RM's to where you had to order the decals seperately.

I crashed a little while ago and am now looking for new fairings for the right side of my bike, one of the local shops that I go to all the time said they have ordered fairing sets off ebay from a hong kong dealer (his ebay username is brandacat) they said the sets theyve ordered have arrived in great shape and fit like a glove, so I think im going to go with that. Has anyone dealt with this guy before? Im pretty sure Im going to order a set soon (as soon as I get the money). IMO this is a way better route then buying from the dealer, who wants to pay twice the price for fairings everyone else already has? OEM stuff is WAY overpriced!

hey remember this is a classic case you get what you pay for... some poeple dont like it others swear by it. but what i heard abotu them is that it sucks... do over 100 and parts sart to crak and some cases come off. this is what i heard form local cshops and poeple from this fourm. GL.

Do a search, I have seen these in person and they look really good, Auctmart has sold a ton of them and you have people that say they are awesome and then you have people that say they suck. With the new gauranteed fit fairings I have heard a lot of good things, not sure about them flying off or cracking or anything like that. Like I said, do a search and then ask someone who has them installed how they are after riding a bit.

Hope this helps, take care and be safe!!

I layed my bike down and ended up just replacing all plastics, being i ordered race fairing last time and sprayed them myself ended up costing me over 750 for my labor and work, little did i know you could order plastics, at the ABS plastics online Honkong for under 600 with no labor but you putting them on. i found a guy on ebay through a place called moto77 right there on ebay received the plastics in great shape a few little flaws in the paint but def. reasonable and they fit like a glove, had to file a couple holes but other than that i couldnt be happier man so check moto77 out. they also came shipped in great packing if you asked me it was overkill..

I bought a set of those cheap ebay plastics for my bike and the paint actually looks good but they fit like shit.I cant even bolt up a wind screen without it busting it cause the holes dont line up.i wouldnt waste your money like I did. I need to buy new OEM fairings for it.

I did buy new oem faring for my Busa and it came with all the decals. You can buy the decals seperately but they do came with it. I think I paid more for the Busa fairng then I did for the complete set of ebay

You get what you pay for:thumbup:
