iv got an 08 gsxr 600 and all i have done to the engine is the jardine gp1 slip on which is nothing but a pipe that goes after the cat. do i need to have it tuned or will that be a waste of money until i get a full system with k and n filter. it runs fine right now and it still has the cat on it so it should be good right?

yup save your money and throw it in some suspension parts.

You'll be fine without a remap. The CAT is still on there restricting most of the airflow so there isn't a significant change to the AFR. Just save up for a full system, fuel management system, and a custom tune (and maybe an autotuning module too).

I wouldn't even go that far... unless you're doing a lot of trackdays/racing. The best thing to do with the stock suspension is to set it up for your personal weight.
