My windscreen has recently begun rattling out of control. I tried everything I could think of to make it stop... I loosened the 6 screws in the windscreen....Nothing... I tightened the 6 screws ...Nothing... I even put locktite on all 6 of the screws and tightened them until I could not tighten them anymore(even broke one of the screws...

Does anyone have a K8 600 and have the same problem and know how I can fix it...

Please help it is driving me CRAZY!

my 03 did it pretty bad. after i put on an aftermarket screen on it. i ended up cutting an bike tube up and using a hole puncher. trimmed the pieces down , put the screws thru and almost no vibration after that.

It's a sportbike with lots of vibrations, use rubber washers between the fairing stay and the front cowl.

All 600 and 700 with few exceptions make the noise.

I also have the problem, and it's driving me crazy, too. I've tries everything, but sofar no success. I managed to narrow down the spot where it's coming from. The noises come from the fairing above the main Lamp. Touching it with you left hand while riding to see if it stops. Furthermore, I've noticed that the sounds occour differently according to environment temperature. It does the noise only in temperatures between about 1°C and 21°C. I conclude that that's because materials expand when they get warm and retract when they cool down. I never had the sound in subzero temperatures, so I guess the materials don't touch eachother at that temperature. When it's really warm, the materials press firmly against eachother, thus avoiding vibrations. I have the rattling noise at about 4500-6000 RPM. The only way to make it stop is to stuff something in the gap between light and fairing. I'm trying to come up with an idea to solve it.

Sry, i meant 600 and 750

Could it be that your cowling (windshield fairing?!?!) does not have the little velcro part in between the headlight assembly and cownloing??? its 2 pieces above the headlight.
