Is anyone else going to this? I didnt get to go last year and am defintley going this year.
If anyone did go could you tell me what are some good seats close enough to see some good action. I have been on the website looking at stands b or e and the penthouses for both of those as well but dont want to be to far away.
If anybody went and could tell me anything I would appreciate it.

We basically just sat wherever we want. They weren't too tight with security last year. We walked all around the course for a while then sat at the finish line for the end. I hope it doesn't pour again this year like it did on race day.

Where were the best seats to buy though if you had to keep a seat? Never been to any kind of race in indy so I dont know the track that well besides the map pics they have on the website.

Since it's a specialized track within the speedway, I really couldn't say. If you are sitting at the finish line, you're going to see the highest speed (it's the longest straightaway) and the finish, as well as the winner's ceremony. If you want to see them laying into corners, I would just bring a lawnchair and sit around the fence. Wish I could give you more info, but we just wandered around the track most of the time to see different sections of the course until the end when we sat at the finish.

We had seats in the SW Vista and they were good seats. You got to see them come into turn 1 and speed and go through the first couple turns and then head down the track towards turn 5. We walked around a lot as well and it was cool to sit in the NW Vista but that was general admission seating so it filled up faster. There are a lot of good seats, I think the thing is you buy tickets in an area that you might like and then spend some time walking around as well and find different points to watch from. E stand is good because you get to see them coming down the front stretch at Indy and into turn 1, SW Vista you really don't see them until they are at the end of the stretch and coming into turn 1. It will be a blast for sure, no matter where you sit or stand, there is a lot going on at the track and you can see a lot of racing from many different vantage points. We just need to make sure that when the time comes we get everyone together if we can downtown on Friday/Saturday night when they close of the streets and hang out. Fun times!! Cool guys thanks. I may try and get e stand seats and do some walking around. I guess the only difference in e and e penthouse is penthouse is indoors or covered?

I was there last year, we were the RS-Taichi vendors, not sure if anyone came over to check us out. My hot ex-girlfriend was out modeling on my bike

I'll be there again this year but not as a vendor, I actually wanna enjoy the races this time!
