Does anyone have a recommendation for riding sunglasses? Here is my criteria.

1- Blocks wind
2- Look sharp
3- Polarized if possible

Any recommendations? Has anyone used something or seen something that’s worth a look?

i'm no help either. in the unfortunate event of an accident i would hope they fly off my head and not stab my skull or shatter into my eyes...but i wear a full face helmet all the time when i ride so wearing sunglasses are irrelevant to me.

I wear polarized sunglasses WITH my full face helmet. I tend to stay away from tinted shields(preference)because if end up riding all day into the night the tinted shield is going to be an issue. Plus, say you are out at a BBQ, if you have a tinted helmet what happens after you take it off? Then you still need to carry sunglasses because you're not going to wear your tinted helmet are you? So in this case you still have your sunglasses to use once you arrive at your destination.

There is another option. You can purchase one of those helmets that come with that sort of sunshade built in that you can slide in and out (day to night). I'm not sure how good those are as I have never tried them but maybe someone on the forums might have.

Here is an example, not that I am recommending this model, just an example:

just my preference and 2cents.

Unless you plan on riding visorless, or with an open face helmet, I would take "blocks wind" out of the criteria, since close-fitting goggle type glasses tend to fog up and get sweat on the insides. Loose fitting non-polarized sunglasses inside a clear visor work fine for me. I ride that way in the winter, and switch to a smoke visor in the summer.
