A friend of mine just bought a Gsxr1000-2003, and one of the ecu wires is chopped (looks like on purpose) we checked with the service manual and it reveals this cable a black with brown strip is coming from Air Pressure Sensor, Air Intake Temperature and Altitude sensor.

The service manual says if no one of these sensors fail the Ecu maps the fuel inyection as SEA LEVEL. hmmmmmmmmmm......

any coments.........

Just wire it back together, then it will be the same. but yeah you need to have that hooked up or your bike wont run as good.

solder it back up and use heat shrink with it and you should be all fine

nothing a butt connector couldn't fix....but solder is the way to go.

Are yousure that you are seeing that right.

The SET valve wire is black and brown.

Does the bike have a full system exhaust, if so I bet this is what it is.
