Well, this is my first post as a new GSX-R owner. Glad to be part of the club.

So I need to get my bike from the L.A. area to Germany. Obviously I've found a lot of companies, but I've never done this before so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good reputable company that will ship it to Germany for me.

Yeah, I am in the military, but I'm not moving anywhere. . .I just bought the bike back home, they will only move it to me if I change my duty station, which won't be for another year.

I'm in the same boat but I'm in Japan. I did find out that if your still within the 1st year on station TMO will still ship your bike but it can only be from your home of record. If not I would look for a shipping company that gives military discounts. (if one exists)

Year, there is a crap load of shippers out there, just wanted to know if anyone had personal expirence with one.

No biggie, looks like it will cost me about a grand to have it shipped to Germany.

are there any extra things you need to have done once your bike gets there? I know in Japan we need a fuel's test and a decibel level check it ends up costing about $900.00. Hope everything works out for you.
