Hey guys new to forum. Sorry if this has already been asked I didn't see exactly what I was looking for in search so don't flame me.
I think its known that the first couple gears are jumpy when letting off and then applying the gas.
Is the TRE mod the fix for this? Any way to save the gear indicator? Thoughts are appreciated?
Also would the power commander help the smoothness or is that simply a power mod only?
Any other suggestions you can give to a newbie for a smoother, more fun ride are greatly appreciated.

i have the same problem, i had many avid riders at my house today and they said its a loose chain problem. tighten the chain

I found that my bike seemed to shift kind of "rough" sometimes. Then a thought came to me: maybe I'm holding too tight on the bars and not relaxing my wrists and arms when I'm riding? Once I loosened up my arms and wrists and didn't have a "death grip" on the bars, guess what? The bike was less jumpy!
