Ok, so I did a search and it seems most people are running some sort of iridium plug. Question is how often are you replacing them?

i did my first replacement at 9k on my k7 600. I went with the ngk iridium plugs. It said to do it at 7,500 though in the manual. If your not sure, pull em out and see what they look like, its not hard at all to do.

What about plug wires. Mine is an 02. Not sure if that is coil packs or not.

I had a 2001 Gsxr 1000 with 48K on it when I sold it, rebuilt the engine and never ever touched the coils/wires on it. Replaced just about everything else but never had a problem with those.

Oh let me clarify.... replaced the stock plugs at 7,500, then the next change was at 24,000.

just replaced the stock plugs in mine with NGKs at 10k...

NGK CR9 at 18k miles. Not sure what prevous owner did, only had the bike a few miles so far but I have a studder between 4-5k, then a surge after 6k so I'm hoping this fixes.
