This will prolly sound noobish because I am a nooby I just boutht a 2004 GSX-R 600 and I was playing around with the speedometer I was just wondering what the icon is when u push and hold the button on the right at the bottom and a circle w/what appears to be a lighting bolt in it comes on??? what is that

the lighting bolt comes on when you have the shift light turned on.

i have a 2005 1000, my speedometer stop working, all the lights, rpm needle, everything works, but my speed digits r staying in "0".
wat could dat b ???

check the speed sensor by the front sprocket
