So do all companies just use a cnc machine to make sprockets? even the stock ones? Just curious.

OEM and good quality aftermarket sprockets typically are CNC machined (or turned on a Hobbs machine, anyway) but some of the cheaper sprockets are stamped or forged. REALLY crappy ones are cast.

yeah I did a little more research and found out some stuff. I actually am doing a presentation of the manufacturing process it takes to make one of these. I found out that one company claims to laser cut titanium ones.
